As an Occupational Therapist, I look at your whole life in action.
No problem—big or small—is unsolvable. We put our detective hats on and look at three areas:
You (The Person): Your physical health, energy, and the thoughts or worries hooking you.
Your World (The Environment): Your home, workplace, relationships, and setup.
Your Daily Life (The Occupations): Everything you do—from morning routines and work to sleep and hobbies.
Using Occupational Therapy (PEO) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), we figure out why things feel hard right now. We tinker around in all areas to give you a practical plan forward that makes life feel that bit easier!
$120 (+ GST) per hour
No rigid templates. I am open ears, and we work together on whatever is blocking you:
Stress, burnout, sleep issues, anxiety, depression, or simply want to debrief on something sticky
Managing a new health condition and ability including concussions, chronic illness, or diabetes
Living well alongside persistent pain
Trauma-informed sleep habits & calming hypervigilance
Picture this: I meet you and your family right in your own home. We sit down over a hot drink and have an honest, unhurried conversation about what actually matters to you for your future years. Together, we weigh up your energy and safety, but most importantly, we get clear on your values and what quality of life really looks like for you.
From there, we look at you and your home in action. I take a close look at your physical and cognitive strengths, your daily routines, and your living environment. Then, we make or teach practical changes—from home safety tweaks and equipment to energy pacing—to make everything run that bit smoother and easier.
Whether you're looking to stay in your home safely for as long as possible or navigating a move to care, we focus on 4 key areas:
Environment & Safety: Home hazard audits and private equipment recommendations (shower seats, ramps, bed rails) to prevent falls.
Functional Vitality: Simple home routines for strength, bone health, skin integrity, and nutrition.
Advance Care Planning (ACP): Guided discussions to document your healthcare wishes and register them directly with your GP.
Energy, Grief & Acceptance: Managing your "energy budget" so you aren't exhausted by chores, while processing the emotional impact of aging.
