As an Endocrinologist and an Occupational Therapist, we created Forward Health right here in Rotorua out of a shared passion for proactive, practical care.
We have a genuine drive to help raise our community's health at the top of the cliff. Instead of waiting until things go wrong, we want to help you build resilience and understand your body now, so you can keep doing the things you love.
We look at you holistically. That means considering your bones, your hormones, your mind, and the physical body that holds it all. We also acknowledge where you stand—your whenua—respecting where you have come from and where you are heading. Ultimately, we are here to help you build a meaningful life with health as your strong, reliable foundation.

Compliant with the NZ Privacy Act 2020 and the Health Information Privacy Code 2020.
1. What we collect We collect personal information from you, including your name, contact details, NHI number, and health history. We also receive information about you from third parties, such as lab results and specialist referrals, to provide your Endocrinology, DXA, and Occupational Therapy care.
2. How we store and use it Your data is stored in Cliniko (our practice management system) and Google Workspace (our secure administrative system). Both systems use high-level encryption and Multi-Factor Authentication. We only use your information to provide clinical care, manage appointments, and communicate with you.
3. Use of Technology and AI To ensure clinical accuracy and efficiency, we use secure, de-identified AI assistance (Google Gemini) for drafting documentation.
We use a "Sealed" version of this technology, meaning your data is not used to train the AI.
We remove all personal identifiers (names/DOBs) before any data is processed by AI.
4. Sharing your information We only share your information with other health providers (like your GP) when necessary for your care, or as required by law. We never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
5. Your Rights You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
